Football Tournament – 25th October 2019

Big thank you to Team Aquatrust, made up of Mark, Jayjay, Chris M, Ben, Richard and Dan and their football manager Chris H.  They represented us with great team spirit at the Connect Yorkshire 5-a-side football tournament at Goals in Kirkstall on Friday 25th October. We had a message of thanks from another company at the tournament for your kind gesture loaning a player and for still showing enthusiasm in such horrendous weather conditions!

Basketball Sponsorship – 2019/2020

We are proud to be part of the sponsorship team for our local basketball club The Spen Valley Vipers.  We wish all their teams luck for the forthcoming season and look forward to keeping up to date with their results.

Tough Mudder – 27th July 2019

We are proud to announce that a team of 9 representing Aquatrust successfully completed the Tough Mudder Challenge at Broughton Hall, Skipton on Saturday 27th July.  The obstacle course required a lot of team work, determination and stamina and our team all crossed the finish line together!

They were fundraising for the Charity Mind and are pleased to say with great support from clients, friends and family a total over £1000 has been raised.

Wyke Food bank Donations – 17th January 2019

We would like to say a huge well done to our Water Service Technician Alex Denham for organising a collection for Shirley Manor Primary Academy Foodbank in Wyke, Bradford.

Very thoughtful thing to do amongst his very busy daily schedule.

Also, thank you to our team for their donations it was greatly appreciated!

Hollybank Trust Mirfield 2018

We are very proud of our team here at Aquatrust who have set their sights high to fundraise for Hollybank Trust Mirfield.

On Saturday 19^th May 2018 they set off as a team to tackle ‘Gung-Ho’ at Temple Newsham, Leeds.  It was a very hot day however they all successfully completed the 5K course of huge inflatable obstacles.

It was then onto the next challenge and on Sunday 24^th June, a team of 7 from Aquatrust bravely took to the skies and experienced the thrill of jumping from a plane at 15,000 feet at Skydive Hibaldstow.  All had never done anything like this before and there were a lot of nerves and apprehension leading up to and on the day.  They were however all determined to complete the challenge, feeling the biggest push was from the amount they were raising and the support they had received for such a worthy charity as Hollybank Trust.

Hollybank Trust offers quality of life for life to over 100 children and adults with profound physical and learning difficulties.

With these two events alone Aquatrust have so far raised over £3500 for the trust.  Aquatrust Managing Director Gary Russell said “I am extremely proud of all the team at Aquatrust who have taken part in these events.  I am also very grateful to all those who have supported us in our fundraising efforts.  Aquatrust are also commited to supporting more events in the future”
